Really awesome store, mostly men's clothes but still a huge variety, lots of cool vintage jeans and jackets. The owner was super helpful and sweet, definitely recommend checking it out.

It's not often that you find a vintage shop or secondhand store that caters directly to men. Often times, stores of this nature will have a men's section, but they tend to be just a very small portion of the store. This place is the opposite of that. Run by a local, who has been operating a vintage clothing operation for years, and located squarely in the middle of downtown Benicia. While some of the clothes in this store could be identified as unisex, male clothing is the focus and it doesn't go unappreciated by a frequent second-hand shopper that is male. While this store is small, the space is used effectively and is filled with great finds from all eras. Out of all of the antique and vintage shops here, I would recommend this the highest if you're a guy.

Fun Funky Shop I love it.. I have several Vintage High Quality Hawaiian shirts. My Ryan Spooner my fave..I love going and finding special items…Jay the owner is so fun…Every-time I ask if he can find something I’m looking for her try’s and often finds it.. great store. Benicia is lucky to have Pocket Monkey in town.

Awesome spot for men's vintage clothing! It's a small spot, but you can spend a good amount of time looking around at all his stuff. Clothes are in great shape, clean, and the owner is super helpful. If you're looking for something in particular, talk to the owner as he has more inventory and he can shop for you. Loving my new vintage Hawaiian! Thanks!

I love this place. Please don’t be discouraged by the tainted reviews by two members that are affiliated with one that was shoplifting, and the other that was taken away by the police that was claiming an ADA violation… Always two sides of the story. The gentleman that owns the shop is a true gentleman, and treats everyone with respect (law abiding)- I am frustrated that Google allows people to review this business, that our shoplifters and break the law and tell wild stories… (cowards behind a keyboard ) This is a wonderful business, and I highly recommend!

This place rocks! They’ve recently moved to a bigger space, sort of across the street and to the back of a building, but worth the effort to seek it out. Highly curated clothing, but unlike EBay, you can try stuff on here before you buy. The owner is a kick to chat with as well!

I had a great experience at Pocket Monkey today. I brought in some clothing, hats, and wallets to sell, and the process couldn’t have been smoother. I walked out with an absolute grail: a dope pair of Nike Air Force 1 Low Retro QS "Kobe Bryant". 🐍🔥 The new owners are super friendly and the service was top-notch from the moment I walked in. Their new location is huge and packed with so much cool stuff—you can really tell they curate their inventory with care. Whether you're looking to trade up or just find something unique, this is the spot. I will definitely be visiting again soon!
